About Parkburn Management
Parkburn Management is a Central Otago–based cherry orchard management company, established in 2015 by a collective of growers to create a more efficient, aligned approach to orchard performance. Today, we provide services to a 49ha portfolio of orchards located across Cairnmuir, Ripponvale, Queensberry and Mt Pisa where our operating base is also located
We believe successful orchards are built over time. Our approach prioritises the full season cycle — from pruning and winter chill through to pollination and harvest — ensuring every stage is managed with the long game in mind.
Parkburn is built on its people. Our core team of five is supported by a skilled seasonal workforce, with a strong focus on training and development to build capability across every level of the business.
We work flexibly with orchard owners, offering full management, supported owner involvement, or specialist services as needed. With close ties to Pure Pac, we also help create a seamless connection from orchard through to harvest, packing, and sales — delivering more joined-up outcomes from tree to market.

James is Operations Manager at Parkburn Management Ltd and Pure Pac Limited, helping align orchard and post-harvest operations. With over 15 years in the cherry industry, he brings hands-on expertise across the full growing cycle, having progressed from picker to management.
Known for his strong communication and practical, solutions-focused approach, James consistently delivers high-quality fruit. An award-winning grower, he plays a key role in connecting orchard and packhouse to drive quality, efficiency, and strong outcomes for growers.
Kylee | Orchard & Harvest Manager
Kylee is Orchard Manager at Parkburn Management and Harvest Manager for Pure Pac during the peak cherry season. With 8 years in the industry and a background in dairy farming, she has built strong, hands-on expertise through experience and mentorship.
She manages day-to-day orchard operations, including staff, planning, and seasonal programmes, and plays a key leadership role during harvest—coordinating teams and ensuring fruit is picked and handled to a high standard. Known for her resilience and practical approach, Kylee is instrumental in delivering strong outcomes for growers and the Pure Pac team.
